Keysight News|KEYSIGHT InfiniiVision 1000X Series Ultra-low-cost oscilloscope series with professional-grade functions and software analysis capabilities
InfiniiVision 1000X Series Oscilloscopes
The 1000 X Series uses Keysight’s unique ASIC chip (MegaZoomIV Intelligent Memory Technology) to capture waveforms at up to 50,000 waveforms/second, making it easier to observe random and rare glitches and anomalies that are likely to be missed by other oscilloscopes at the same price. The 1000X Series also has a high sampling rate of 2GSa/s and comes standard with two probes with adjustable 10:1/1:1 attenuation ratios. In addition, the standard segment memory function maximizes the memory depth while helping the oscilloscope to test more intelligently.
In addition to being suitable for novices and students, these oscilloscopes are also an ideal tool for frequent oscilloscope users. They are not only low-cost, but also make it easier for users to learn how to use the oscilloscope and how to set up measurements. This series of oscilloscopes is equipped with an easy-to-use industry-standard front panel and a built-in help system, allowing new users to quickly analyze signals and deliver final results. Unlike most oscilloscopes of the same type, an educator resource kit will be provided as standard. The kit includes built-in training signals, a complete oscilloscope lab guide and tutorial written for college students, and oscilloscope fundamentals slideshow courseware for professors and lab assistants.

Six instruments in one means the 1000X Series delivers greater value for your investment and saves valuable bench space. In addition to oscilloscope functionality, the 1000X Series can be used as a serial protocol analyzer, digital voltmeter, and frequency counter—the EDUX1002G and DSOX1102G models also include frequency response analyzer and WaveGen function generator functionality. Built-in WaveGen and frequency response analysis capabilities make it easy to teach the fundamentals of Bode plots, as well as amplitude-frequency-phase-frequency curves for two-port devices such as filters and amplifiers.
The 1000X Series features professional-grade, high-performance measurements and software analysis. They provide 24 typical oscilloscope measurements to quickly analyze waveforms and determine signal parameters. Gated FFT capabilities also provide more signal analysis, allowing users to correlate time and frequency domain phenomena on a single screen. Mask limit testing capabilities help users easily detect signal anomalies and errors. The 1000X Series can decode, trigger, and analyze a variety of common embedded and automotive serial bus applications, including I2C, SPI, UART/RS232, CAN, and LIN.
